Remote (Global) Full-time $220-300k + 1-3% equity

First engineering hire on a real-time voice agent product, working directly with the founders.

About the client

A seed-funded team building low-latency voice agents for regulated industries. Backed by top-tier funds.

What you'll do

  • Build the core agent runtime: ASR, LLM orchestration, TTS and tool use
  • Drive latency, reliability and evaluation from zero
  • Ship directly to design partners and iterate weekly
  • Help shape the engineering culture as the team scales

What we're looking for

  • Shipped production LLM or speech systems
  • Comfort owning the full stack of an early product
  • Strong systems instincts around latency and streaming
  • Appetite for 0→1 ambiguity
